Some of the fastest vehicle deductions are for SUVs, pickup trucks, and crossover vehicles with Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWRs) greater than 6,000 pounds. These vehicles avoid the limitations on depreciation for luxury automobiles.
If you opt for a more than 6,000 pound GVWR vehicle, look at the driver’s book, metal plate or paper stickers on the door or the door frame. But ensure the GVWR is above 6,000 pounds.
